The Spa Valley Railway have announced Deltic No. 55019 “Royal Highland Fusilier” as Star guest for their 2018 Summer Diesel Gala.
The class 55 diesel locomotive joins the Gala line-up thanks to its owners, Deltic Preservation Society.
55019 joins 8 other diesel locomotives which will be attending the Gala already.
The gala will be taking place on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of August.
