No. 6233 “Duchess of Sutherland”, owned by The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust, has been announced as the first guest locomotive for Severn Valley Railway‘s (SVR) Autumn Steam Gala.

6233 will appear in LMS Crimson Lake livery, which will be applied in early 2018.

The new livery will be applied while the engine also undergoes some repair work. 6233 was last seen in this livery in late 2009/early 2010, before being repainted in LMS Black.
