Ivatt 2 No.41241 is currently undergoing an overhaul at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (K&WVR).

This involved sending the Boiler off to the Severn Valley Railway (SVR )to be overhauled.

The Boiler passed its Steam Testing and now has been delivered back to K&WVR, where the rest of 41241’s can continue.

When will the Ivatt be back at the Worth Valley Railway in Steam?

It’s hoped that the Ivatt 2 is back in steam again for June 2018, to take part in the 50th Anniversary of K&WVR’s first train in June 1968.
