The month of November has seen more parts being made with Computer Aided Design (CAD).
The most recent part being designed with CAD is the Valve Motion Plunger Guides. This component forms part of the motion in the oil bath.
The ‘Sponsorship Component of the Month’ scheme launched in November has started very successfully.
The component for the sponsor was the Truck Oil Trays, with there being 6 in total. All of these have been sponsored now.
Decembers Component
This month’s component is the Trailing Truck and Tender’s Axle Box covers. GSNLRS will have a pattern made of this part, due to a cover being lent to them. Thanks go to the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society for lending the part.
