Train Operator c2c offers free travel for veterans on Remembrance Sunday

Train Operating Company (TOC) c2c is offering free travel to all service personnel and also veterans on Remembrance Sunday.

is owned by Trenitalia. The TOC will be providing the free travel tomorrow only to anyone travelling in uniform or with a valid ID.

Veterans wearing their medals will also receive free travel.

A special mural for the front of trains has been designed by Maple Grove Primary School in Pitsea. They teamed up with c2c to complete the design.

What did the officials say about Remembrance Sunday travel?

c2c Managing Director Julian Drury said: “We have offered free travel to service personnel and veterans to mark Remembrance Sunday for several years now. It is part of our way of paying tribute. We are also grateful for the help of pupils from Maple Grove and proud to show off their commemorative design onboard one of our trains.”
