Northern – 3 & 5 October 2017 Strike Information

On the 3rd and 5th October 2017, RMT are taking a planned strike over whether guards should be kept on trains or not, which is affecting Northern trains.

As a result, between these dates, Northern will not be running a normal timetable. Although they are planning on running 1200 services a day.

The link below will take you to the page with all of the timetables, please note that these are the only Northern services that will run.

The timetable is constant throughout the planned strike action. Note: trains timetabled with a bus icon are run by Rail Replacement Bus Services.

You may be able to use your ticket on other Train Operating Companies (TOCs), you will be able to use your tickets on Arriva Bus Services (including Yorkshire Tiger) on the 3rd and 5th October for journeys that you would be making by rail.

You can use your season tickets on Manchester Metrolink services.

Note: this industrial action is also affecting Greater Anglia, MerseyRail and Southern service. Please check before you travel.
