Flying Scotsman + No. 31466 at Rawtenstall

The last loco to arrive is 60103 “Flying Scotsman”. “Flying Scotsman” is only visiting NVR due to a problem occurring while hauling a mainline tour. Flying Scotsman was taken off its train and Peterborough Station and taken to Wansford Station on NVR. The problem that occurred has been reported as a ‘hot box'. Flying Scotsman is to stay at NVR until this problem can be resolved.

Due to the nature of this visit, i advise anyone wishing to see Flying Scotsman to check the Nene Valley Railway's Facebook page or Website for updates on Flying Scotsman.
