The Bodmin and Wenford Railway have announced that they have received an ex-BR Bubble Car DMU from Chiltern Railways.
The Bubble Car is a first generation DMU which Chiltern Railways used on the Princes Risborough to Aylesbury shuttle
Bodmin & Wenford Railway are hoping to use the DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) alot next season.
The railway has thanked Chiltern Railways, Tysley Depot and Reid Freight for helping bring the unit to the railway.
121020 On The Mainline
121020 only bowed out of service in 2017 after many years on the Mainline, its sister unit is currently at Crewe being prepared for use as a route training unit.
