Maentwrog Road is the current site where the working parties are currently working towards clearing. Maentwrog Road Yard is where in the past saw the transportation of explosives from Penrhyndeudraeth after Barmouth Bridge closed to heavy freight.

Work Parties are organised approximately once a month with the next one on the 15th July 2017. Work does vary along the six and half mile branch line. Volunteers are to be ideally physically fit and able to work under supervision, a safe attitude to working is essential.
