Another year… another ‘The Snowdonian' Fundraising Train. This year would see Palmerston, Prince and Taliesin haul the Ffestiniog stage of the tour. The locomotives would then swap at Boston Lodge on the way back and would see Merddin Emrys and David Lloyd George take the Welsh Highland Leg.
More than 40 clips in numerous locations along the line are featured in this video (42 minutes long mind!) with points across the whole line (Porthmadog – Minffordd – Penrhyn – Tanybwlch – Tanygrisau – Blaenau Ffestiniog – Tanygrisau – Tanybwlch – Penrhyn – Boston Lodge – Porthmadog – Pont Croesor – Aberglaslyn Pass – Beddgelert – Rhyd Ddu – Waunfawr – Dinas – Caernarfon – Waunfawr – Rhyd Ddu – Aberglaslyn Pass – Pont Croesor – Porthmadog + extras!
