No. 5197 and 6046 will be headlining an S160 Exclusive event at the Churnet Valley Railway later this year (6/7 May 2017).
Nos. 5197 and 6046 will be in steam on both days, hauling the equivalent of a ten-coach trains along the line from Kingsley to Froghall.
Seven ‘S160s' are preserved in Britain, but the Winter Steam Gala earlier this year was the first time a pair had been double-headed in preservation.
This is a great opportunity to see the two S160s in action, especially if you missed the Winter Steam Gala!
