The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway are on track to finish track works in time for Mothers Day services on the railway.
Work started in early January to replace the track in the platform at Ludborough Station and at the improve the drainage below the tracks.
Work involved the removal of the old rails and then the track bed was removed. Since then, work has move at a fast rate and the new sleepers have started to be put.
When the P-Way (Permanent Way) team have levelled the track, the new ballast will be put in and the railway will be ready to re open on the 26th March 2017.
