A Half Term Trip To The Ruislip Lido Railway (4K)

During our Half Term holidays, we visited some family in South England. We made our first visit to the of 2017

The Ruislip Lido Railway is a 12 in (305 mm) gauge narrow gauge railway of around 1 mile in length.

The railway operates through the Ruislip Lido, which is in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

The railway has one steam locomotive and five diesel locomotives.

Our Locomotive ‘Graham Alexander' on the Ruislip Lido Railway

Our locomotive for the day was Graham Alexander.

Graham Alexander was built in 1990 by Severn Lamb Ltd and is a Diesel-Mechanical locomotive and operates on the Ruislip Lido Railway on most operating days, when required. The locomotive is blue and carries the ‘No. 7' number.
