Earlier this month (February) the track that the Canterbury and District Model Engineering Society owns and runs on in Sturry was stolen by metal theives.
The entire circuit layout was taken, including aluminium running railways sleepers. Around 200 feet was taken in total, leaving the railway beyond use and they will have renew the railway as a result.
