Class 333 at Keighley heading for Skipton

In this weeks Throwback Thursdays, we whisk over selves back to August 2015 as we see Class 333 No. 333008 arriving at Keighley station.

At Keighley Station, the mainline between Carlisle and Leeds is connected to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.

Keighley Station is run by Arriva Rail North and serves Leeds, Bradford Forster Square, Skipton and services to Carlisle.

Arriva Rail North Class 333

Class 333s are Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) operated by Northern (Now Arriva Rail North) and were introduced in 2000 and operate the Wharfedale and Airedale routes in North and West Yorkshire (Leeds to Bradford Forster Square and Skipton to Leeds / Bradford Forster Square). Arriva Rail North’s Class 333s are based at the Neville Hill Depot in Leeds and are capable of running at speeds up to 100mph.
