In the video we see Flying Scotsman at a variety of places along the line at Summerseat, Ramsbottom and Irwell Vale.

As well as Flying Scotsman running, the East Lancs also ran shuttles between Heywood and Ramsbottom with DMUs – Class 122 Gloucester ‘Bubble Car’ W55001 + Class 117 Pressed Steel 2-Car. Steam services from Bury to Rawtenstall were performed by 4-6-0 Bulleid Pacific ‘City of Wells’ and LMS No. 12322
