In this weeks Throwback Thursday episode, we see and Blanche depart with a service train to Blaenau Ffestiniog.

This video was taken during the 's 150 Years of Passenger trains special event in 2014. As you can see from the video, the weather was typically British, but didn't hamper the visitors flocking to the event. In fact the damp rainy atmotsphere helped to create clouds of steam and help make a good video clip.

Blanche and Linda were both built by the Hunslet Engine Co., Leeds, in 1893. The engines were originally built for use on the Penrhyn Quarry Railway which served the Penrhyn Quarry, in Bethesda, North Wales.

A Microsoft Lumia 1320 was used to record the video, which was then edited using Cyberlink Powerdirector.
