On Saturday 16th April 2016 sees the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway have its annual “The Snowdonian” train. This is the only train in the year to travel the whole of the railway in one day. The route being Porthmadog – Caernarfon – Porthmadog – Blaenau Ffestiniog – Porthmadog.

Also running this weekend  (both the 16th/17th April 2016) is the railways ‘Join The Volunteers Weekend', this is where members of the public get the chance to meet the volunteers and have a chance to enquire about volunteering themselves.

Both of the events have to have been booked prior to attending. ‘The Snowdonian' is now Fully Booked. As it is fully booked, the Ffestiniog Railway is having a ‘Snowdonian Limited' train in June, with just 100 seats available, this is an extra train being put on due to the over whelming interest in the April special. More information on this can be found by clicking here

We at Railway Adventures hope to be there for ‘The Snowdonian' as we shoot footage of this special train!
