Over the Easter holidays, I visited the Talyllyn Railway. I visited on Thursday 9th April, this day was a blue day timetable day. This was a moderately busy day with 4 departures departing Tywyn Wharf.
Please check the timetable before you travel, I took the 12:15 departure, which was hauled by No. 1 Talyllyn, which is painted red, due to the Talyllyn celebrating their 150th this year.

I travelled all the way to the end of the line, to Nant Gwernol, passing Douglas(Duncan) on the way. I then travelled back to Abergynolwyn, which has a café, and a Children's Play Area. There is also time for lunch, and to get back on the same train, on a busier day, you can stop off here longer, go off a walk and get on later train.
After boarding the train again, I got off at the next stop at Dolgoch, the home of the waterfalls. Again on a busier day, you can get off here for longer than I did, and walk around the whole of waterfalls.
