Duncan ready to depart with my first train of my day

On Monday this week I visited the Talyllyn Railway. I visited on a pink timetable day. This was a busy day for trains, the service various depending on the day and time of year. Please check your timetable before you travel.

The is the worlds first preserved railway, it runs from Tywyn Wharf to Nant Gwernol. Calling at Pendre, Rhydyronen, Brynglas, Dolgoch and Abergynolwyn. You can call at Hendy Halt, Fach Goch Halt, Cynfal Halt, Tynllwynhen Halt and Quarry Siding Halt by request to the guard.

I travelled from Wharf to Nant Gwernol and back to Abergynolwyn for a spot of lunch. I recommend the tuna and cheese panini. I then boarded the next train to Dolgoch station,  to look around the falls, before finally boarding the last train back to Wharf station.
