In September 2017, the Thompson Park Railway played host to the Annual General Meeting of the 7¼” Gauge Society.

The event saw more than 40 locomotives descend on the miniature railway in Burnley.

A mixture of steam, diesel, battery and even human-powered vehicles were present at the event.
