Full Description

The Talyllyn Railway held its popular Anything Goes Gala in 2024 and welcomed Corris’ new-build Falcon No. 10 for the weekend.

The weekend started wet, with pouring rain at Tywyn greeting us off the Transport for Wales service. However, the weather improved as the weekend went on, and a busy timetable was in operation.

Freight trains and double headers also featured across the weekend, with all available steam and diesel locos in operation, as well as Toby!

Locos featured on the weekend are: No. 1 ‘Talyllyn’, No. 2 ‘Dolgoch’, No. 3 ‘Sir Haydn’, No. 7 ‘Tom Rolt’, No. 10 (visiting from the Corris Railway), No. 11, No. 12 and ‘Toby’.
