Full Description

The Snowdonian special runs each year to raise money for the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, and 2025 was no exception.

No less than 5 locomotives featured on the special train this year, with 2 bonus locomotives at Porthmadog and Tanybwlch to add extra interest!

The day kicked off with Taliesin and James Spooner hauling the Ffestiniog Railway section before K1 and 87 took over to Beddgelert. At Rhyd Ddu, 134 Kalahari made its passenger debut with 87 assisting.

Look out for bonus locomotives Chaloner and Sybil, both visiting locomotives, adding an extra attraction at Porthmadog and Tanybwlch.

This set features more than 90 minutes of footage as we head to more than 30 locations to follow the train throughout the day.
