Full Description

The Severn Valley Railway held their 2023 Spring Steam Gala between the 14th and 16th April 2023 and featured an intensive timetable.

Visiting locomotives were BR Standard 2 No. 78018, GWR Castle No. 4079 ‘Pendennis Castle’ and GWR Prairie No. 4555.

Joining the visitors were 4930 Hagley Hall, 7812 Erlestoke Manor, 7714, 34027 Taw Valley (as 21C127), 43106 and a bonus feature for BR Class 31 No. 31466.

Included in the DVD is behind the scenes action at Bridgnorth sheds, which the Severn Valley Railway invited us to film, which includes some of the crew at Bridgnorth, who talk about what’s included in steaming up a loco as well as driving and firing a steam locomotive.
