Barry Scrapyard - The Woodham brothers
Back in 1980 I was the MO of HMS Glamorgan. We made an official visit to Cardiff, and while we were there a group of the engineering department took the ship’s landrover to Woodhams scrapyard, and I was invited along.

Nice to see these old shots! I pulled many to scrap in 64 to late 1965 when my Bristol Barrow road shed closed! 3 or 4 at a time would make a right din when deep inside the long Severn tunnel! Always at night and always with steam!

Some appear in pretty good condition considering their situation.
