The Mayflower sets off from Plymouth steps, To battle the Atlantic sea’s to America in 1620, Laden with English family groups looking for a new life! To wash up on what is today’s Massachusetts coastline? Some 156 years later such groups would grow to Unite into its various States of 1776, to become its 250th celebration of this years 2026? The Mayflower steam Express to London was King or Castle? Its crews would lift a hand to their Southern Counterpart (Me) On his 8 wheel Z on Red Cow crossing! Its driver fighting wheelspin on my side of cab as well as it gets away fast! (Owing to its crazy footplate steam crew layout)? This was late 1950’s? 1960 and the first diesel 800 Warship turns up? To cause such a stir? What the hell’s this I cry? My first sight of diesel? We are a little behind the times down here! In fact, Some locals still await a postcard from the Pilgrim Fathers on their safe arrival? And a dog called Leika is taken from the streets of Mosco to soon to be shot off into space on a rocket? To become one of an early lifeform into a regular orbit of this Earth? So from Sail, Steam, Diesel, or Rocket? Its simply the (‘Passage of Time)?
