(Who favours water to beer)
I often wonder what birds drink in a dry spell? I sit outside having a fag and a half can of beer! (I always wait to mid-day)! Born of meeting white expatriate’s in the bush of Africa! What a welcome if giving them a container of powder containing Chlorine for their swimming pool! A clock in their bar would show the pub opening times around the world! What people you would meet on huge contracts! (I exclude BP oil n gas)!! I myself would be awarded an export achievement from the Queen herself! Simply for installing filtration and sedimentation for potable drinking water in way out towns and villages! All this of a couple of sparrows coming to my pond for water? Filtered and oxygenated as it bounces off crystalized rock! Coming in from the English channel in my boat to meet the waters of the estuary, My mates wife says we are not moving? I look to shore! She is right! I have to ‘Gun up’ the ‘Tohatsu’ engine to compete with the tide! Billions of gallons of water come in and then go out again four times a day no matter of the Sun’s solar power or wind! All surface or sub surface Turbine blade power is free! And has been free for millions of years! And the 50 meter gap in the middle for boats and fish to travel freely up river! I must find the other half of that can and see if them sparrows come back?
