• (An impossible story)

Coincidence that the 63 (I refer to the old 22 class diesel loco)! None saved, and maybe long forgotten by all but a certain few? My yarns generally reach 5/ 7 viewings? But some are of a length of the Boat voyage to Australia? Maybe BOACs slow boat planes to the 1960s and the Boeing 707 long distance jobs with many stops! (I would use these very noisy planes when I worked in Africa)! Equatorial journey through the earths core is about 8000 miles to Australia? But planes 37000 ft is the most economic! And the young lad who took this picture was 15 yrs old 63 year ago! He and parents emigrated! The Internet produced this photo that i do remember being taken! (Exmth jcts first ever diesel)! A 63 (6337) I collected from Plymouth Laira shed! And 63 year ago! I was in my early twenties? It took me and my driver some time to start this thing! The Dummy clanged and we are off over Dartmoor! Open moor! Deep valleys and viaducts? We drove the rabbits and horses wild we did! Little did i then know I would transfer under rule 3 to have GW and Midland steam engines galore and diesels like 800 Warship class, And Western Hussar, Cavalier or Prince! All from a casual photo of the humble 63! And an impossible storey too distant to tell? (Its not long ago i could type a letter, never mind put a sentence together)?
