My word! We feed steam with a coal chute from on high! Dig all Bristol Marsh engines out to Feed the Diesels that replace them! Spill a bit to stink the place out? I would hate working there from Bath road shed! But now I recently see a Unit powered by Batteries?? So why not combine the crane hoist that would separate a steam engine from its wheel’s on one road Exmth jct! To Lift a battery pack from a Battery train and set it down at the back of a queue of batteries to be charged? The leading fully charged new battery pack is lifted, And lowered to the trains engine bed! They do this with shipping containers in the blink of an eye! You simply (Plug in) to supply your axles, And you are off again! For hundreds of more miles! You see Skip lorries doing this with skips loaded with heavy clay! The cranes gantry simply lifts out the depleted stuff, To drop in the fully charged battery pack! I thought this on getting my new Electric bike! Mark my words, Someone will set a Lands End to John o groats record with battery changeovers to challenge all that might like to challenge Locomotion itself! Batteries loaded by Solar! Are free agents! They Await their turn in that queue, Ready to go! In less time that it once took to take on water! ”Imagination is only for them that dare think ahead”!

I see you are ready for the Tour de France, it’s starting up north in England and is passing by the bottom of my son’s street.

(Mike) I love the new E bike! I have not connected the throttle cable? Just turn its peddles when needed and it takes off! I wonder what Solar power might be generated if a trains (Say, Ten coach rooves) were to be completely covered in Solar panel’s? I spose that could be up to 20 times what’s required for a complete households electrical need? (Shower, Cooking, Lights and all gadgets etc! Just imagine in the years to come! all houses independent of any National Grid??
