I’m looking forward to starting it Mike, I’ve chosen to use the PECO bullhead style track and then possibly somehow integrate the spare Hornby 3rd radius curves and Hide them either in tunnels or under a village so that each wall is it’s own separate scene brought together through the countryside.

Thanks for the help Mike, it’s much appreciated. I’ve actually taken inspiration from the old shelf layout you were telling me about. I’ve decided to do it 30cm in width, and then 254cm along one wall, 423cm along the next and then 390cm along the third and final wall. Before this, I was struggling to find a way to fit it into the room I wanted to build it in. So thank you for the inspiration also!
