According to Realtime Trains trains it looks like two light engine runs to Chester were planned for today but have now been cancelled due to “a problem with a steam locomotive”. This is fairly standard for test runs as issues with locos are revealed. My guess is that we’ll see runs scheduled again over the next few days – unless someone has better inside information. Will have to see which route is used for any loaded test runs – I’m hoping it’s the Chester-Shrewsbury-Telford one but this is a tall, heavy loco so who knows.
