01.12.24 Hunslet 2387 built 1941 Brookes No.1 on Santa duty on the Middleton Railway. These were taken at the side of South Leeds Stadium after the sun had set and twilight was setting in. Brookes No.1 is the only surviving member of the class, having 14″ cylinders. It is part of the Middleton Railway’s “Made in Leeds” collection.
P.S. I note that the photos appear dark on here but my originals are much lighter.
