Cant say I like the white buffer’s or steps to its frames? And even the destination disk brackets? And smoke box inner locking bar? Does it look awful or is it just me? 34092 and its creator Oliver Bulleid were in Devon shed (72A) in 1961, Don’t think he would go a bundle on it either?

        • @nostalgia Clive, I still preferred it to 34070 “Manston” at the ELR gala, which just looked tatty! Mind you, they would have needed to go a lot further in the decrepitude stakes if they were trying to make it look like many locos did at the end of steam on the Southern Region – I’m thinking of the paintings done by David Shepherd in this regard.

        • We had loads on Exmth jct shed in 1950s, 60s, But this looks like its been crying? I should say the white paint looks awful, But i musn’t?
