Does anyone know what happened to Blue Peter today – it started on a test run from Crewe to Preston but when I checked later, just before heading to try and catch it on the return, the outbound leg showed as cancelled due a problem with the steam locomotive – or words to that effect. The Inbound leg shows as cancelled due to late arrival of the inbound service.

Not having much luck seeing this as my only two opportunities (so far) thwarted for me due to cancellation – hope the loco feels better soon!!
