On 13 December 60007 “Sir Nigel Gresley” hauled a Steam Dreams’ special from Peterborough to Chester (the train had originated at Colchester, being diesel-hauled as far as Peterborough). The A4 loco, part of Locomotive Services Group stock of heritage steam locos, was not scheduled to make the return trip and the second photo shows it being dragged back to Crewe with empty coaching stock. The first photo was taken between Tilstone and Beeston, Cheshire, the second near Bunbury Locks (Shropshire Union Canal)
