I personally hate shot video, and it is becoming very popular. We do not see in ‘portrait’, and how difficult is it to turn your phone 90 degrees!

Hi John it’s really straight forward to turn a part of a long form video into a widescreen short video, on an iphone select the image that you filmed in widescreen and duplicate it then go to this duplicate and click on the crop icon, then at the top of the screen you will see an icon with four arrows click one on this and the image rotates 90 degrees, now click save go to the upload screen and select the rotated image and edit it down to the required length and up load, for examples have a look at my YouTube channel Ashworth-media

@Mike_Ashworth thanks Mike. Its no the making I was complaining about, I do not like seeing stories in portrait, as has become popular. It is like when they are used in news stories, I just want to shout TURN THE PHONE AROUND. Its my one-man campaign to save landscape. Your help is gratefully received.

@johns I have had a lot of favourable comments about my shorts presented in landscape orientation. You are not a one army as I have join you and I will continue to put out landscape shorts.
