This image of Black 5 was taken on the main line at Helpston. I should say I am a hobby photographer from a local camera club, not a purist train spotter. I have removed the overhead lines for information. Just passing on a lovely image of this tain. Had posted like image of Sir Nigel Gresley ealier.

Yes, I agree Michael – it’s only taken the powers-that-be sixty years to put a few Class 37s back into the colour scheme which suited them best in the first place!

Hi Jonathan the black 5 will be leaving Fort William on Sunday at 09:35AM but it won’t be coming into Fort William Station
