I spend 20 minutes at Accrington Railway Station on the East Lancashire Line, and observed several Northern Diesel Multiple Units and a Heritage West Coast Railway’s Diesel Locomotive.
The 1B25 passenger service running from York to Blackpool North was operated by Northern Class 195 DMU Number 195127.
The 2K69 passenger service running from Blackburn to Headbolt Lane (Merseyside) was operated by Northern Class 156 and Class 150 DMU’s Numbers 156452 and 150107.
The 2N87 passenger service running from Colne to Preston was operated by Northern Class 156 DMU Number 156402.
The 0Z47 light engine service running from Castleton Hopwood Ground Fram (ELR)to Carnforth Steamtown was operated by West Coast Railway Class 37 (Tractor) Number 37676 Loch Rannoch.
