Northern Diesel Multiple Units are seen arriving and departing Hellifield Station on the 17th of September 20241
The 1M53 service running from Leeds to Carlisle was operated by Class 158 DMU Number 158756.
The 2H85 service running from Carlisle to Leeds was operated by Class 158 DMU Number 158753.

That platform could do with re-surfacing!!

@Jon This part of the platform is not network rail but is a private station called H24 and has a café and air b+b, service trains should not stop here but they do as observed yesterday and the odd freight train, stopping to pick his bacon butty up.

@Mike_Ashworth I understand but it could still do with re-surfacing from a health and safety point of view; that’s my Welfare Officer brain working…..
