Hornby R3952 Pendolino spruce up advice
Hi all,
I was recently running my Hornby R3952 Avanti West Coast liveried Pendolino that I’ve had for 4 years now and noticed that the “Avanti West Coast” lettering, number 390 156, cantrail and red parts of the livery have started to come off.
In the time that I’ve had it, I moved house to that may contribute to its worn appearance, however I am looking to tidy it up and get it looking as close to new as possible, however I do need a little advice on what I can use and how I can reapply the lettering and numbers. I’ve attached a few photos of 4 of the 9 coaches in my ownership for you to have a look at it’s state as of June 2026 in the hopes that you all could point me in the right direction.

I have in the past painted models using aerosol paints using satin or matte, you may be able to source the decals from Hornby.
