Can anyone recommend a good train spotting book. Numbers, types etc for diesel, electric, steam etc. I suppose I’m looking for something that includes all locos running on our network with lots of information about each type.

There are a series of books published annually by Platform 5 publishing. They are the go to for spotting books, just Google them.
