Nicely written! And that track ballast is a sod to shovel up, if you have no bottom to get your shovel under it? Coal is similar I found! And if your coaches are not independently braked then I suppose your guards van has a hand brake that would stop them? Cheer’s.

No steam at the Old Kiln: we had to cancel our gala that would have been taking place last weekend due to the risk of fire across our woodland site.
