The Thistle and Dragon

On the SRPS website and timetables it mentions a loco change at Chester from a Class 50 to a Class 45 (45118): “Our train is hauled south by British Rail Class 50 D400 (50050) “Fearless”. On our return at Chester we see a change of traction as our Class 40 is replaced by Locomotive Services Limited beautifully restored Class 45, 45118 ‘The Royal Artilleryman’.” (The original plan was a 40 not a 50, but that has changed due to 40013 being unavailable, hence why it says the class 40 is removed at Chester)
