Responses

  1. The Railway Touring Company website mentions it diverting to Melton Mowbray and going over the Harringworth Viaduct, however, the timings on RTT don’t seem to match with that. Has there been a route change?

  2. Rostered to be steam hauled throughout, with Newcastle to York leg being operated by either 44871 or 45407 ‘The Lancashire Fusilier’ as per GB XVIII outline timings booklet and loco roster letter. Short break in York to allow for change of locomotives, with 34028 ‘Eddystone’ working York to London Euston, with water stops at Barrow Hill, Humberston Road and between Sharnbrook Junction and Bedford (specific location not identified in the outline timings booklet, but discernible by nearly 40 minute travel time between the above locations and only 1 minute of pathing time between the two locations)
