60103 NEWS: Flying Scotsman will return to York TONIGHT. Full timings can be found here.

TRACTION UPDATE: 60103 Flying Scotsman will haul train York to Newcastle ONLY. The Class 67 will haul the entire return journey.

UPDATE: Flying Scotsman will depart at 4pm and will return diesel hauled. UK Railtours statement below:

Today’s train is currently held at York. Our current expectation is to leave York behind Flying Scotsman at approximately 16.00. We then plan to leave Newcastle at our booked time of 17.33, diesel hauled, and expect to meet our set down points on time. We will post further updates in due course and sincerely apologise for the delay.

TOUR UPDATE: Due to a coaching issue, the train is heavily delayed. We are awaiting official confirmation on whether this tour is continuing beyond York.
