Two engines pulling away from Beattock harks back to the time when a second engine was connected at Beattock to assist the train over the notorious Beattock summit.(In fact nearly 10 miles from Beattock )
Saw them this morning south of Glasgow from the motorway as I was heading to Aberdeen , fantastic sight which made my tedious journey so much better !!
