The 2025 Christmas Model Railway Show in Manchester this year celebrates 100 years of the Manchester Model Railway Society!
Among 26 fantastic layouts will be the original Thomas the Tank Engine created by Rev W Awdry for his son Christopher.
Six of the layouts will be making their public debut, and there will also be 26 traders and 12 other exhibitors at the show.
In addition, a ‘timeline’ series of themed displays will showcase the history and development of both real and model railways over the last two centuries, part of the #Railway200 celebrations.
The show takes place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December 2025 at the Sugden Sports Centre, Manchester M1 7HL.
