I've been a railway enthusiast all my life, starting regular visits to my local railway from 6 months old. I started volunteering on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, and at the Bahamas Locomotive Society at the age of 13, and have been an active volunteer in both organisations since. For my full time job, I am a mechanical engineer, but in my spare time I enjoy re-skinning stock for Train Simulator, which I release through my page Blast Pipe Productions, and taking photos for my photography page ASH Railway Photography. After being involved with Rail Advent behind the scenes since the KWVR 50th Anniversary gala, I joined as an official contributor in October 2019.
