In November, the High Wycombe and District Model Railway Society (HWDMRS) is again holding its Wycrail model railway exhibition in the superbly restored Broad Gauge Railway Shed in the town.
The Railway Shed is next to High Wycombe railway station and is managed by Buckinghamshire New University.
With its historic railway connections, it is an ideal location for the Wycrail exhibition being held on Saturday, 7th November.

The last Wycrail exhibition was held in 2019, and the historic Brunel Railway Shed venue is an inspirational and appropriate place to host the exhibition.
Twenty-four quality model railway layouts have been earmarked for display, representing a wide range of genres, scales and gauges, including N, H0, 00, 00-9, 0, 7mm Broad Gauge, and H0e.
There will also be a wide selection of trade stands and Society displays, with, appropriately, a display by the Broad Gauge Society.
Confirming that railway modelling is alive and well with the younger generation, the society’s junior modelling members will present and operate their popular OO Gauge layout ‘Shadwell East ‘.
This year’s show sponsors are The Transport Treasury, AGR Model Railway Store, and Anoraks Anonymous, and the Wycrail Exhibition will be officially opened by railway historian and TV personality Tim Dunn.
The show opens between 10.00 am and 4.30 pm and is being held at Historic Brunel Railway Shed, Station Approach, High Wycombe, HP13 6NE.

Tickets for the show cost £8 for adults and £2 for children aged 6-16: £2.00; under-sixes are free.
Further information and details about the Wycrail Exhibition can be found here.
In early September, the Leigh Model Railway Society from Lancashire celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a bumper exhibition featuring 26 layouts in a variety of gauges, and the Spa Valley Railway held its annual Autumn Model Railway Show at Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
