In a recent upload to our YouTube channel, we see 6989 Wightwick Hall in action at the Epping Ongar Railway.
The locomotive has recently become very popular, or rather well known, due to its new role as the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter TV series.
The locomotive was visiting for the line’s Steam Gala back in April, hauling a number of trains throughout the weekend.
The locomotive appeared at the gala alongside GWR Prairie No. 4144, 4953 Pitchford Hall, 3437 ‘Isabel’, and 2409 ‘King George’.
